To be a successful business personal is much more than just increasing your annual/yearly profits. A great life is the best measure. You might know some workaholics who make a lot of money only. But aren’t you more impressed with those people who make lots of cash and also have great lifes ? … The Real money makers I observe have the following common traits:
The Seekers - They dig out every opportunity that will help them get to the next level. There may be more money at the next level, but there are also other potential self satisfactory achievements at the next level that make it more challenging for them to attain. Most seekers already earn so much money that the additional cash is not much of a motivator.
The most successful money makers simply enjoy growing and innovating, just for the sake of growth and creation. An example is, Steve Jobs of Apple Computers … this man has been down and out before, but it was never the money which enticed him to resurface and come up with the i-macs. Many of these rich business personals, even went on to coach & mentor new entrepreneurs. It is this very nature of wanting to give back to the society, which attracts even more money back into their businesses or personal wealth.
The Learners - A lot of top businessmen still invest in their most important assets, … which is themselves. They have full bookshelfs, audio tapes in their cars and attend all relevant seminars pertaining to their trade. They even meet up with their fellow successful money making friends to learn from each other and some share trade secrets. This characteristic is still very much kept alive in discussion forums on the internet and by reading ebooks to enhance their online marketing techniques.
The Action Takers - “I am going to read your book when I get home” or “I was so tied up at work today, I will do it next week” … and so on …. Arent those statements common? Procrastination is what separates the eagles from the turkeys. Some people read motivational and make money books but never apply the techniques or strategies to which the book suggested. You have to take action after using this books or else .. You are better off not reading them at all.
